Many Mini-ITX cases ship with enough space for a dual-slot graphics card, meaning thereâ€™s typically unused space below the bottom PCIeÂ® slot â€“ space that could be utilized to mount more components or enable additional features. Being marginally taller than mini-ITX allows Impact to exploit this unused space, allowing ROG engineers to squeeze in features while still fitting a large proportion of mini- ITX PC cases.
Weâ€™ve fully exploited the extra space afforded by Impactâ€™s Mini-DTX form factor to dedicate more space to the board's VRM and chipset cooling design.

A high-efficiency copper heatpipe channels heat away from the VRM to a full-size aluminum backplate, spreading heat quickly and evenly, compensating for limited airflow in smaller chassis.

18-Pin ProCool II Power connector
