ASUS ESC8000A-E12 is a 4U enterprise GPU server designed for artificial intelligence, deep learning, high-performance computing, simulation, rendering, visual computing, virtual machines and data-centre acceleration. Its dual AMD EPYC 9004 platform pairs high core-count processing with large DDR5 memory capacity and dense GPU support.
The server supports up to eight dual-slot active or passive GPUs, 24 DDR5 DIMMs, 11 PCIe 5.0 slots and up to eight front hot-swap NVMe/SATA/SAS storage bays. It is a configurable infrastructure platform for organisations building scalable accelerated-compute clusters.

ESC8000A-E12 is designed for complex workloads that benefit from parallel GPU acceleration. Its 4U chassis can support up to eight dual-slot GPUs, NVIDIA NVLink bridge configurations and NVIDIA BlueField DPU support, subject to the final compatible build. This makes the platform suitable for AI model training, inference, HPC, large-scale rendering, research, digital content and virtualised compute infrastructure.
For energy-conscious deployment, the chassis separates CPU and GPU airflow paths to optimise thermal management. It supports air and, for supported configurations, advanced liquid-cooling strategies.
PCIe 5.0 Expansion, High-Capacity DDR5 and Flexible Storage
Two Socket SP5 processors provide a 24-DIMM DDR5 architecture with 12 channels per CPU. The platform includes eight PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for dual-slot GPU cards, plus further PCIe 5.0 lanes for NIC, OCP 3.0 and HBA/RAID configurations. This lets teams plan high-speed network fabric, storage controllers and accelerator density around their workload.
Eight front hot-swap bays accept compatible 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives; the backplane supports up to eight NVMe, SATA or SAS drives, with SAS capability requiring an appropriate HBA or RAID card. An M.2 slot provides additional local storage flexibility.
